I have an unhealthy interest in Standard Pacific’s new yard homes coming this year. I think they might be the next logical step for my family. If you blinked, you may have missed the 15 David Weekley yard homes that went on sale in the last month, but don’t despair.
If you’re like me, and you’re looking for a home between 2000 and 2370sqft, it looks like the latest Stan Pac homes will go on sale on the first weekend in August. The homes will be 4 stars from a possible 5 stars in Austin Energy’s Green Building Program. This will be the first time that the builder has built on this sized lot in Mueller, so the plans will be all new. Prices should start in the low 400s, which for those price per square foot nerds means around $200/sqft. Personally I don’t put much value in this metric, but I know some do.
There should be an email from Marie around the 24th or 25th July which has details of the floorplans – you need to respond to this to make an appointment to be eligible to purchase – let me know if you’re not signed up for this e-blast.
