If you go to one of the Mueller developer update sessions, chances are you’ll run across a disgruntled resident who wants more mixed-use opportunities. Residents like me who have been here four years, are champing at the bit to get coffee shops, local businesses and entertainment in addition to an elementary school.
Right now, there are local businesses – this Statesman Article on Mueller Mixed Use tips its hat to Contigo and Paco’s Tacos, both of which I’ve enjoyed on the periphery of the neighborhood. My wife has an office in the ground floor of Mosaic too, along with other small business owners – from chiropractors to a spa. There are also the food trailers at the Browning Hangar which I probably walk to at least once a week.
Mixed use is partially here, and more is on the way.
