The Bergstrom is a Mueller Garden Home plan, built by David Weekley in Section V and beyond. It’s unusual in that it’s a three story homes – one of few in the Mueller neighborhood. The base plan is 1812 square feet with two bedrooms and two baths, though most people choose the third bedroom option.

The bedrooms are on the second floor along with an open retreat. You can choose to enclose the retreat and make it into a third bedroom. The master bedroom and bathroom are toward the front of the house.
There is an option in the master bathroom to exclude the garden tub. This allows for a larger walk-in shower and a larger double sink vanity. It also increases the size of the master closet. This is a nice option since there is a tub in the other upstairs bathroom.
If you continue up the stairs past the second floor you will reach the bonus room. The different elevations have a different window configuration at the end, and you can access the mechanical systems in the attic from this floor.

The first floor is very open with the kitchen, dining room and family room as one large space. The powder room is through the foyer across from the dining room. You have access to the two car garage through the living room. There is typically no island in the kitchen, though I have seen expanded Bergstrom Garden Homes where the whole house is wider than standard and an island has been fitted.
