Four builders, one year, 221 new homes. That’s the news from Mueller Master Developer Catellus. They just announced that they are working on roads and infrastructure for the more than two hundred new homes which are going to be built just East of the planned Town Center. If the builders and developer keep on target, they should be ready for move-in 2012, which is pretty aggressive in my mind.
It’s great news for all the folks who have been waiting for homes at the old airport, or who have been dashed in multiple offer situations on the resale homes. It could mean a challenge for some sellers though with new competition in certain product types. New home styles are expected – I’m anticipating townhomes, condos and a smattering of yard homes.
