Mueller Town Center Town Hall – Again!

So the first Town Hall I went to for the now impending Mueller Town Center was back in August 2008 – over four years ago. The eager new residents and soon-to-be residents expounded on what we thought was important to create a vibrant and thriving center for the Urban Village. Town center in a village? Yes, I know, sometimes the choice of phrase is a little confusing. Nevertheless, the time is upon us once more to go and say what we think is important. And this time, we’re closer to having something built it seems, as the Austin Children’s Museum has already broken ground.

what: Mueller Town Center Town Hall – our esteemed developer, Catellus is holding a public meeting around our highly anticipated town center

when: Wednesday, October 24 from 6:30 to 9 p.m

where: Seton Administrative Offices, First Floor, 1345 Philomena Street

parking: surely you’ll be walking there? If not, here’s a map and some parking instructions for Seton

It’s going to be a long session, and I imagine there will be some heated debate – there are those who have been waiting almost five years for their walkable community, and it’s a topic that meets with passion and excitement. There will be break out sessions and the developer will share their vision. I’ll see you there!
