Mueller Austin is never far from the news. This week the Pike Powers Lab opened and last week the Austin Children’s Museum announced that it’s new location here in the neighborhood will be named the Thinkery. On Monday, 119 Muellerites invaded Kerbey Lane Cafe in a reverse move – there is a strong desire amongst residents for the popular restaurant to open a location here – either in the Mueller Market District (by the new HEB) or in the Town Center.
There is no shortage of media coverage for the redevelopment of the former airport site, and I’m honored to have been invited by John Schutze and Joel Douglas to talk about real estate at Mueller on their Sunday talk radio show.
The show starts at 5p on Sunday June 16th, and I’ll join the show as their guest. I listen to the show, and it gives some different perspectives from the finance and real estate sides of the market. Joel certainly brings energy and enthusiasm as he shares his wealth of knowledge of Austin real estate, and John fills in the picture with his lending expertise. Even if you’re not actively looking to buy or sell a home, the show offers some easily accessible information about the state of the Central Texas market.
